Happy birthday mum. It's alien to me that only a year a go, you were handing me a bit of cake in the garden. Nothing out the ordinary. It goes without saying, I and so many others wish you were still here. We all miss you. I'm sorry I can't come see you today, I'll be over next week with a bit of cake for nan and dad. Sophie had the great idea of transferring some of the flowers from the garden to ours, that way there's always a little bit of you near by. Take care mum, wherever you are, love you always x
